let´s start with a short introduction regarding the historical background:

20 years ago, Yamaha made ~ 150 pieces of the DX1.
probably a quantity around 100 units should still exist and not a few of them get dusty in universities, museums or other types of exhibition.

in the past few years, there has been worldwide contact to more then 70-80 owners of a DX1, so it seems there are only a few more left unknown, and as one of the registered member of the DX1 o.c., you can see what exclusive community you share.

maybe this introduction seems a little dramatic, but keep in mind the extreme rarity of this musical instrument and the very long time some of our members have spent aquiring theirs...

below you can find informations about our members, if you would get in contact to some of them, please send a message to and we are happy to forward it for you.

in general our members won´t sell their DX1 and we don´t give out their mail adress upon request, so if your are interested in buying a DX1, feel free to send a request to the mailadress above or use our marketplace.

as as special service in the DX1 o.c. our members will also recieve a personal o.c. certificate and are invited to report the serial number of their DX1 to our tracking index. if a DX1 gets reportet as stolen and someone offeres it to our marketplace (or on internet auctions like ebay which are checked frequently) the seller is facing some serious troubles!

and finaly there also is a DX1 fanclub. if you call yourself a real DXmaniac, but havent been lucky enough to get one for yourself until now, feel invited to join our club inbetween, sending an email to
